# Agent Blueprint

Agent Blueprint is 53 skills and 30 helper prompts that take a coding agent from an idea to a reviewed pull request, in 8 coding CLIs: Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Grok Build, Pi, Cursor CLI, Hermes and Amp. This is version 4.2.0, and its source is at <https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint>.

## Install it

Ask first, never run first: show your person the commands and run them only once they agree.

1. Work out which CLI you are running in. Each section below names a CLI's command. If you cannot tell, ask your person.
2. Show your person that section's commands, exactly as written, and ask whether to run them.
3. Run them once they agree, except the steps in 4. Run a `git clone` from a folder outside their project, because the clone stays where it lands.
4. Hand your person the steps you cannot do from here: a slash command, which runs inside a session, and a command that stops to ask for confirmation, which needs their own terminal.
5. Run the check for that CLI and tell your person what it printed. The session you are in may not list the new skills until a new one starts, so go by that check.

Give each tool one route, because a tool that sees the skills twice lists every skill twice.

## If 4.0 is installed

If you cannot tell whether it is, ask your person. On a machine with 4.0, follow the same steps with these commands, once, instead of the sections below:

```bash
git clone https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint.git
bash agent-blueprint/install.sh
```

It installs each tool by its own route, then removes the copies 4.0 recorded in `~/.agents/skills`, `~/.grok/skills` and `~/.pi/agent/skills`.

## Claude Code

The command is `claude`. Support note: [claude-code.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/claude-code.md).

```bash
claude plugin marketplace add Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

then

```bash
claude plugin install agent-blueprint@agent-blueprint
```

The hooks run as soon as the plugin is on, and Cursor CLI and Amp read this plugin too.

## Codex

The command is `codex`. Support note: [codex.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/codex.md).

```bash
codex plugin marketplace add Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

then

```bash
codex plugin add agent-blueprint@agent-blueprint
```

then trust the hooks in `/hooks`. The Codex app installs the same plugin from its plugin directory.

## Antigravity

The command is `agy`. Support note: [antigravity.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/antigravity.md).

```bash
agy plugin install https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

Antigravity needs the full URL and rejects the `owner/repo` form.

## Grok Build

The command is `grok`. Support note: [grok-build.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/grok-build.md).

```bash
grok plugin install Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

then confirm when it asks. Grok Build needs this command even when Claude Code has the plugin.

## Pi

The command is `pi`. Support note: [pi.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/pi.md).

```bash
pi install git:github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

## Cursor CLI

The command is `cursor-agent`. Support note: [cursor-cli.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/cursor-cli.md).

Cursor CLI reads Claude Code's plugin, so once Claude Code has it there is nothing to do. To add it there:

```bash
claude plugin marketplace add Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

then

```bash
claude plugin install agent-blueprint@agent-blueprint
```

Without Claude Code:

```bash
cursor-agent plugin marketplace add https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

then run `/plugin` in a session and install agent-blueprint.

## Hermes

The command is `hermes`. Support note: [hermes.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/hermes.md).

The installer gives Hermes its own copy in `~/.hermes/skills`, a folder only Hermes reads, with no config to edit:

```bash
git clone https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint.git && bash agent-blueprint/install.sh --only hermes
```

## Amp

The command is `amp`. Support note: [amp.md](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/docs/hosts/amp.md).

Amp reads Claude Code's plugin, so once Claude Code has it there is nothing to do. To add it there:

```bash
claude plugin marketplace add Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint
```

then

```bash
claude plugin install agent-blueprint@agent-blueprint
```

Without Claude Code:

```bash
git clone https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint.git && bash agent-blueprint/install.sh --only amp
```

which writes a copy in `~/.config/amp/skills` that only Amp reads.

## Check that it worked

Start a session and ask which skills it has that start with `ab-`. You should see each of them once; the support note for your tool names its own listing command. Two skills, `ab-plugin-update` and `ab-migrate`, are manual-only and stay out of that list on purpose: they run only when you name them. In Codex you can also type `$` to open the skill picker, which shows each skill by its display name, such as Project Setup.

Each CLI's support note gives its own check:

- Claude Code: `claude plugin list` shows `agent-blueprint@agent-blueprint`; `claude plugin validate --strict ./agent-blueprint` checks a checkout.
- Codex: `codex plugin list`, or `/plugins` in the session; `codex plugin marketplace list` shows the marketplace; type `$` in a session and look for the display names. Codex has no `plugin validate` command.
- Antigravity: `agy plugin list` shows `agent-blueprint` with its components; `agy plugin validate ./agent-blueprint` checks a checkout and reports each section as processed or skipped.
- Grok Build: `grok plugin list` shows one agent-blueprint install, and `grok plugin details agent-blueprint` lists its components; `grok plugin validate <checkout>` prints the name, version and components of a checkout.
- Pi: `pi list` shows one agent-blueprint package.
- Cursor CLI: `cursor-agent plugin marketplace list` for marketplaces and `/plugin` in the session for plugins.
- Hermes: `hermes skills list`, or `/skills` in the session.
- Amp: `amp skills list` (or `--json`) in a signed-in session, the `skills: list` palette entry, or the `reload_skills` tool after a change.

## Run it hosted instead

Agent Blueprint also runs as a hosted agent that your person deploys to their own Vercel account, Railway or a server they run, and nothing installs on this computer. You cannot finish this alone, so walk them through it:

1. They create a GitHub App for one repository, by the steps in [Pre-flight](https://github.com/Ninety2UA/agent-blueprint/blob/main/eve/README.md#pre-flight).
2. They deploy from <https://agent-blueprint.dbenger.com/hosted/>, where they choose where it runs and how they reach it.
3. They enter each secret in their host's dashboard, or in their server's environment when they run their own.

Never ask your person to paste a secret to you.
